I actually owned a gramaphone but it had a bellow instead of the horn. But then my Mom fell in love with it and stold it from me! *sniff* (true story)

I'm writing from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Used to watch this show back in the 70's - and loved it!
You're doing a really reat work, congrats!
Well, you asked people's opinions, so here's what I think:
- you should go with what you remember. Your style is already very appealing to the masses, so no need to re-envision so much;
- I like Freddy's style - there's quite a bit of Japanese influence on it. I would avoid teeth - a black mouth would be more graphic. Round eyes maybe would look more Jap and modern than eliptical. I like the position of the holes: looks like bubbles in water.

I love the record player; the chicken-like legs remind me of the legendary Russian witch Baba Yaga's house, called Izbushka, which also stood on a pair of chicken legs and was capable of movement. I was a big fan of the original HR PUFNSTUF, and love what you're doing so far! All the best!
